Denise Welch is the President/CEO of Computerworks, Inc., a computer consulting company based in Palm Desert, CA. Denise started Computerworks, Inc. 19 years ago working with small businesses and people on an individual basis.
In 1996, Denise created the Desert Internet Group, a non-profit community group dedicated to helping people understand the Internet and its impact on our society. In 1997, Computerworks, Inc. hosted ICON 97, the 1st Community Technology Conference ever held in the Coachella Valley and repeated the conference in 1998.
In 2002, Denise was asked to join the City of Palm Desert’'s Technology Committee and served for 4 years advising the city on Technology Matters.
In 2008, Denise started another company, New Media ID, a non-profit and small business social media marketing company that specializes in using Social Media Marketing techniques including e-Marketing, Google Adwords, Business Blogging, Social Media Communities and Podcasting .
